January 19th, 2012 - POWDER is INCREDIBLE. Some say the best snow in years.
Saturday there was 2 feet of new snow in every direction.
Lots of snow (2-3 foot to play) in the lowlands on the north side of Peters Hill - but only 1 foot of fresh on top of Dutch
Stick to the smaller medows and trees - the large swamps have been touched by wind slightly.
BRING YOUR FACE TAPE - after sun goes down we all got touched with frost burn.
Trapper Creek has 42 inches, Kenny Creek 6+ feet, Peters Hills 7-6 feet
DUTCH HILLS 8-10 feet good base
Denali State Parks is Open to Riders.
